Roxanne Martinez was recently featured in a Fort Worth Star-Telegram article and video for her work around dismantling barriers to the COVID vaccine in the Latino community. Roxanne, her neighbors and community partner agencies collaborated on a drive-up COVID vaccine registration event that registered 172 people in her Diamond Hill community. They have planned additional voter and vaccine registration events across other areas of the city on March 27th.
Roxanne has been involved in health disparities work for the past decade. She knows how to reach and engage marginalized communities. Now imagine the barriers to student success that she can help dismantle as a Fort Worth ISD School Board Trustee.
